About MuPa

MuPa showcases contemporary mosaic art through the work of artists who use this medium as a field of experimentation, often combining it with other techniques, materials, and narratives. Dedicated to contemporary art, MuPa is committed to bringing this work to light, promoting its circulation, and securing its rightful place within the art world.

An association supporting contemporary artists who explore new forms through the medium of mosaic

Founded in Paris in 2022, MuPa (Museion Paris) produces exhibitions, organizes artist residencies, publishes catalogues and videos, and supports the circulation of artworks in France and internationally. The association selects its artists with rigor, prioritizing quality over exhaustiveness, and addresses both collectors and contemporary art professionals—galleries, curators, institutions, and art critics—as well as audiences eager to discover contemporary approaches to mosaic art.

Paris-based events for contemporary mosaic art, with an international reach

MuPa’s ambition is to establish in Paris a series of landmark events dedicated to contemporary mosaic art, where mosaic artists and artists from other contemporary art disciplines can meet, engage in dialogue, and exhibit together. The goal is to foster the emergence of a recognized, critically discussed, and widely collected contemporary mosaic scene. This momentum also extends internationally, notably in Italy, where MuPa has collaborated with the Ravenna Contemporary Mosaic Biennial.
